Why poly beats wood outside

Wood furniture is a chore. It fades, splinters, rots, and wants scraping and repainting every couple of years. Poly lumber is a high-density polymer — the color runs through the board itself, so there is nothing to peel and nothing to touch up.

  • UV protectionColor is UV-stabilized through the board. No fading to chalk.
  • Water resistantRain, snow, and pool splash won’t swell, crack, or rot it.
  • Bug resistantNothing for termites or carpenter bees to chew on.
  • Eco friendlyRecycled plastic gets a second life as furniture that lasts decades.

Cleaning

Wash occasionally with mild dish soap, water, and a clean rag or soft nylon brush. That is the entire routine — no sanding, sealing, staining, or painting.

Do not use abrasive cleaners or a stiff brush.

Twenty colors, mix and match

Most customers pick two — a Black or Tudor Brown frame with seats in a standard or bright color is the classic porch look. The Premier and Rustic wood-grain finishes are our newest additions.

Swatches are photographed from real poly lumber; screens still vary, so ask a dealer to see samples in person. Premier and Rustic are lumber-only finishes.
