Why are so many businesses and families buying outdoor furniture made from recycled plastic jugs and bottles (Polywood)?  Simple, the polywood is stronger than oak or cedar or any other wood for that matter, it is made with the color added to the product so that the color is all the way through the lumber like boards, and it is much more durable than wood and lasts a lifetime.  The polywood lumber is cut into various pieces that go together to make up a piece of furniture such as a bench, chair, swing, rocking chair , etc.  Colors are unlimited and can be offered to any selected item of outdoor furniture.  Because polywood does not decay, split, chip, or attract bugs, it can be left in the outdoor elements summer, winter, fall and spring.  So, why wouldn't everyone buy outdoor furniture made of polywood rather than wood?  For some the esthics of wood is important, and to others the extra cost for the polywood furniture may be a problem.  The cost, of course, needs to be considered over the life of the furniture.  Wood will rot, split, chip, fade and thus have to be replaced after a few years, but polywood lasts a long, long time.  Most manufacturers will guarantee the furniture to last as long as you own the furniture or for your lifetime.
